We are proud to share that on Monday, October 26th at The Sheraton Dallas, we will celebrate All Stars Project (ASP) of Dallas leading both of the Mayor’s Youth Initiatives, including a successful second year of Dallas Works, the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program, and the 30th anniversary of the Mayor’s Back to School Fair at our annual Benefit. Together, we placed 77 youth in internships through Dallas Works, bringing development opportunities to thousands of young people across the metroplex and training hundreds in our Career Ready Workshops and Internship Prep Bootcamp. The Mayor’s Back to School Fair reached over 10,000 youth and their families during one day of amazing impact. Attendees received free school supplies, backpacks, haircuts, health screenings, immunizations, access to programs in the community that provide wrap-around services, and performance opportunities in the Education and Development Zone. Our Fall event will be a momentous occasion to recognize the longstanding partnerships that have supported the growth and impact of ASP’s ‘development through performance’ afterschool programming that empowers our young people and alumni to step into the role of who they want to become with confidence.
This year, we will be joined by three incredible honorees: Linda and Scott Davis Family & The Davis/Yost Group, Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management; John Gain & WTW; and JPMorgan Chase!
Celestina Sunny, our Sales Director, will be in touch with more details and opportunities for involvement over next few months. We are looking forward to celebrating with you and our All Stars Project youth on October 26th.
