Owen D. Thomas
Chairman of the Board and CEO, BXP

Owen D. Thomas is the Chairman and CEO of BXP. He has served as the CEO and a director of BXP since April 2013, and he was appointed Chairman of the Board in May 2022.

Owen is a Director of Lehman Brothers Holdings and served as its first Chairman from 2012 until 2013 when he joined BXP. Prior to Lehman, Owen was with Morgan Stanley for 24 years serving
in a number of different roles, business units, and locations, including Chief Executive Officer of Morgan Stanley Asia and Chairman of Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities, while living
in Hong Kong from 2008 until 2011. He also held the roles of President of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Head of Morgan Stanley Real Estate and served on Morgan Stanley’s
Management Committee from 2005 until 2011.

Mr. Thomas is a Director of the Real Estate Roundtable, a member of the Advisory Board of Governors of NAREIT and a member of the Economic Club of New York. He is former Chairman of the Urban Land Institute and of the Pension Real Estate Association. He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Outside of his executive leadership role at BXP, Owen is a committed philanthropist and leader at various organizations as well. Owen attended and is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Woodberry Forest School and is a Board Member of Episcopal Charities of New York and The Doe Fund, organizations that are
committed to helping individuals and families in need in the NYC area.

Under Owen’s leadership, BXP has become a leading national
champion of All Stars Project and our mission to support access and opportunities for underserved youth. Over the course of our 10-year partnership, BXP has donated $100,000 to All Stars’ life-changing programs and BXP has sponsored youth events and workshops at their offices, creating opportunities for dozens of BXP volunteers to directly connect with and impact the lives of our young people.

Owen’s leadership goes beyond the boardroom, driven by his
personal commitment to creating positive impact in our community through both business and philanthropy. His involvement with All Stars Project exemplifies this leadership commitment, and we are proud to honor him for the lasting impact he has made at this year’s All Stars National Gala!
