Announcing Our Campaign
Published by Caitly ReynosoWe are delighted to share that we are now in the public phase of our FIRST EVER multi-year national expansion campaign, titled Becoming All Stars. The news debuted on May 20, 2024, at our annual National Gala held at City Winery in New York, honoring our beloved Founding CEO, Gabrielle Kurlander. The campaign mission is to provide 100,000 underserved youth with opportunities of a lifetime.
The Becoming All Stars campaign celebrates the All Stars Project’s growth trajectory under Gabrielle’s leadership and will enable us to sustainably support an increasing number of poor and underserved youth by creating communities of development, with youth at the center. Since the campaign’s six-year quiet phase started on January 1, 2018, we have raised over $90 million toward the $150 million goal. This $90 million came from over 8,500 generous philanthropic households and partner organizations.
Now that we are in the public phase, we will solicit, welcome, and celebrate gifts of all sizes as the campaign unfolds regionally in Chicago, Dallas, New Jersey, New York, and the San Francisco Bay Area. We are also forming regional campaign committees to build and maintain local momentum in each of our All Star locations.
The target date for Becoming All Stars to have reached its $150 million goal is December 31, 2027.
