Please join us on Thursday, May 8 for the All Stars Project of Chicago Spring Benefit: Creating ONE Chicago at the Chicago Cultural Center from 6-9 PM. This year’s event will inspire our guests as they mingle with our youth hosts and join them for a seated program.

At the event, we will celebrate some extraordinary people who have played a significant role in making the All Stars Project of Chicago what it is today. The Alumni Leadership Council is comprised of 17 alumni and led by Regional Board Member, Dawn Harris. All successful individuals on their own, yet as a group, they are a powerful network and an inspirational force for change. This group is dedicated to fostering mentorship, professional growth, and community engagement, and they are setting the stage for the next generation of alumni leaders.

A robust alumni network and years of success stories are possible because of tenacious young people and the partners who have given their unwavering support. Greg Mutz, Chairman and CEO of AMLI Residential, has worked alongside our leaders and young people for many years to support their growth and development. Greg and the AMLI Family have hosted workshops, events, and internships giving countless volunteer hours to benefit the young people of Chicago. Therefore, we recognize Greg for his tireless efforts, genuine commitment, and humble leadership in supporting Chicago’s youth.

Founded in 1981, the All Stars Project (ASP) creates free, outside-of-school programs for youth from poor and underserved communities. As a national nonprofit organization, All Stars runs programs in New York City, Newark, Jersey City, Dallas, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Chicago, in addition to hosting virtual programs reaching young people across the country. All Stars encourages young people to try new performances, onstage and in life, which supports their development and allows them to see new possibilities for themselves and their communities.

Since launching in 2007, All Stars Project of Chicago has touched the lives of over 42,000 young people – many from the South and West Sides hardest hit by violence. The business and philanthropic communities work with All Stars to address the city’s tough issues and enthusiastically support the All Stars Talent Show Network, the Development School for Youth, and the Hub for Afterschool Development (ASP of Chicago’s downtown home).
