The Afterschool Development Working Group (ADWG) is one of the few places where we can come together as practitioners and leaders to have conversations about development, share and learn from each other, and build new partnerships.
Outside-of-school/afterschool is where young people develop. It is where they acquire the capacities and skills to navigate an increasingly challenging world and learn how to create success and meaning in their lives. The challenge for all of us who work with youth is to create the best environments for that growth to happen.
