The All Stars Project (ASP) of Dallas will be kicking off the year by walking in the Martin Luther King Jr. Parade along with the Dallas Police Department’s Police Activities League (PAL).
This will be our 4th year participating in the MLK parade, celebrating “The Dream” and legacy of Dr. King. Just as King dedicated his life to equality for all, the All Stars is all about building bridges, bringing different types of people, communities and cultures together to build new and positive things for all.
At the parade, we will promote and continue to build our program, Operations Conversation Cops & Kids, a New Performance of Police-Community Relations in Dallas, partnering with Dallas Police Activities League (PAL) and Dallas Police Officers. Walking together in the parade we will demonstrate that Cops and Kids can create positive activities together. We will also have a mini performances with All Stars alumni acts from previous talent shows. It’s going to be a day of fun and activism.
