Event Details

Wire is a powerful symbol—it can link and bring people together, but it can also create barriers. Through this workshop, we will reimagine wire as a tool for connection, self-expression, and exploration of mental well-being.

Through guided prompts, you’ll reflect on and create artwork that expresses:

  • What connection means to you

  • How you engage with your community

  • What supports your mental health and well-being

  • What makes you feel disconnected

Your artistic contributions will become part of a public art exhibit at the Center on Halsted, amplifying diverse perspectives on connection and mental wellness. No artistic experience is needed—all are welcome to create, connect, and contribute to this meaningful dialogue!
