Event Details

On Monday, April 8th almost all of the continental United States will be able to witness another solar eclipse, which will be the last one visible in North America until the 2040’s.  This unique astronomical event is due to the cosmic coincidence that the moon is close enough to Earth to completely block out the Sun and will align with the Sun in the sky. While most of the US will only experience a partial eclipse, the path of totality will be swept out from Mexico, through Texas (including Dallas) to New York, and into Canada.

Join the All Stars Project of Dallas & Trinity Park Conservancy as we gather to observe this event and learn about it from Dr. Nicholas Gross, a space physicist from Boston University. As with all of our All-Stars events, we will play, learn, and develop while witnessing this cosmic event.
