New York

Overview

The All Stars Project of New York (ASP of NY) has been transforming lives through the power of performance and community-building since 1981. For over four decades, we have brought our innovative programs to the streets, schools, and neighborhoods across New York City’s five boroughs. Our signature initiatives — including the All Stars Talent Show Network, Development School for Youth, and the award-winning Operation Conversation: Cops & Kids — were born right here in NYC, setting new standards for youth development and community engagement.

We are excited to embark on our boldest chapter yet. We are reimagining our Center on West 42nd Street as a dynamic shared destination for Youth, Community, and Workforce Solutions. Our revitalized space will serve as a new stage where possibilities come to life. Our signature youth programs will continue to reach young people from New York City’s poor and underserved communities, while new innovative partnerships will create unprecedented opportunities for workforce development and collaboration with like-minded nonprofits.

Our vision extends beyond traditional community building. By re-establishing our Center on West 42nd Street as a hub in the heart of Manhattan, we’re creating a catalyst for change where young people, community members, and partners can come together to create, learn, and grow.
