Please join us on Tuesday, June 18 for the All Stars Project of Chicago Spring Benefit: Creating ONE Chicago. This year, we will be honoring Doug Brody (Senior Vice President, Business Development, Lockton Companies), ASP of Chicago’s Development School for Youth Trustee chair. Doug has been an All Star for over 18 years – having started his support at the All Stars Project of New York before moving to Chicago and supporting All Stars in the Windy City. Doug’s dedication has positively impacted the lives of thousands of young people across the country, and we are proud to recognize his commitment to our youth.

ASP of Chicago is also proud to present Bevon Joseph (Head of Innovation, Skillful.ly) with our Community Leadership Award. The Community Leadership Award is presented to Chicagoans who bring positive change to our city’s communities and maintain a strong connection to young people and families.

Founded in 1981, the All Stars Project (ASP) creates free, outside-of-school programs for youth from poor and underserved communities. As a national nonprofit organization, All Stars runs programs in New York City, Newark, Jersey City, Dallas, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Chicago, in addition to hosting virtual programs reaching young people across the country. All Stars encourages young people to try new performances, onstage and in life, which supports their development and allows them to see new possibilities for themselves and their communities.

Since launching in 2007, All Stars Project of Chicago has touched the lives of over 40,000 young people – many from the South and West Sides hardest hit by violence. The business and philanthropic communities work with All Stars to address the city’s tough issues and enthusiastically support the All Stars Talent Show Network, the Development School for Youth, and the Hub for Afterschool Development (ASP of Chicago’s downtown home).
