Hosted by All Stars Project youth and Troy Iwata from the Daily Show, ASP of New York hosted their annual benefit at the Prince George Ballroom on November 21, 2024. The event drew nearly 250 attendees and raised over $800,000.

10/22/24 – Shadae McDaniel, Senior Vice President/Programs and Strategic Initiatives and Director, ASP of New Jersey, is interviewed in this week’s episode of “The Round Table: A Next Generation Politics Podcast”.
Shadae shares how her experience growing up shaped her belief in the importance of performing, building connections and supporting underserved communities, and how her journey ultimately led her to the All Stars Project. The episode is also jam packed full of advice for youth passionate about advocacy and community empowerment.

- In 2023, the New Federal Theatre recognized Gabrielle Kurlander, ASP’s CEO, with the Humanitarian and Social Justice Advocacy Award for building the All Stars into a leading national organization.
- In August 2023, All Stars Project was one of three awardees for the inaugural Dallas College Beacon Award, recognizing partners with extraordinary passion and commitment to the mission of Dallas College.
- In 2023, ROI Influencers: People of Color recognized Shadae McDaniel, ASP of NJ City Leader.
- In 2020, ROI Influencers: People of Color recognized Shadae McDaniel, ASP of NJ City Leader.
- In 2019, ROI Influencers: People of Color recognized Shadae McDaniel, ASP of NJ City Leader.
- In 2019, the Futures for Youth Award was presented to Shadae McDaniel, ASP of NJ City Leader for her leadership in helping vulnerable youth through the Development School for Youth.
- In 2018, Dr. Lenora Fulani, Co-Founder, All Stars Project, was honored with a Protecting New York award for Operation Conversation: Cops and Kids at City and State’s Protecting New York Summit.
