Connecting Kids to Communities
The All Stars Talent Show Network (ASTSN) involves young people, aged 5–25, in performing and producing in talent shows and activities. All young people are welcome, regardless of talent or experience level.
All ASTSN activities, including auditions and talent shows in New Jersey, pop up performances in Chicago and showcase and competitions in Dallas, take place in the community and are produced in collaboration with community-based and youth development organizations.
We welcome every young person who wants to participate.
No one is turned away. For many of these young people, this is the first time in their lives that they experience success.
We create environments where young people try on new performances – onstage and off.
Young people are involved in all aspects of the event. In addition to performing on stage, they run the lights and sound, manage security and invite friends and family to attend the shows.
Through talent shows, we bring people from all backgrounds together to create a new kind of community.
ASTSN events take place in a variety of community settings and give young people the opportunity to perform before family, friends and neighbors. Caring adults from all walks of life come out to support the performers. This sends a strong message to young people growing up in poor communities that people are invested in their development.
