Dr. Lenora Fulani receives Protecting New York award

On Tuesday, July 17, 2018, Dr. Lenora Fulani, Co-Founder, All Stars Project, received one of four “Protecting New York” awards for her work with Operation Conversation: Cops & Kids, at the City & State Protecting New York Summit. The Summit took place at Baruch College in New York City and hundreds of public sector leaders, industry executives and academics attended to discuss New York’s security strategy from elections to community policing. Notable attendees included NYPD Commissioner James P. O’Neill, FBI Assistant Director in Charge of New York Division William Sweeney, Jr., State Senator Todd Kaminsky, Council Member Donovan Richards, Roger L. Parrino Sr., Commissioner of the NYS Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services, Elizabeth Glazer, Director of the New York City Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice, State Senator Liz Krueger and Assembly Member David Buchwald.
