On May 5th, in partnership with the Dallas Independent School District (DISD) Police Department, All Stars Project produced our first competition talent show in South Dallas at Lincoln High School. Two hundred and sixty-eight community members joined us, including volunteers, audience members, and police officers. There were 26 performance acts with 29 performers.

On January 15, 2018, the All Stars Project of Dallas kicked off the year by walking in the Martin Luther King Jr. Parade along with the Dallas Police Department (DPD) and their Police Activities League (PAL). A total of 113 people marched with the All Stars, including 20 adult volunteers, 61 All Stars and PAL young people, and 32 DPD officers. Everyone involved enjoyed passing out fliers and candy as they organized the South Dallas community around the All Stars Dallas program, Cops & Kids: A New Performance of Police-Community Relations in Dallas.

On Friday, November 3, All Stars Project of Chicago hosted the fourth annual Afterschool Development Conference at East-West University. The conference, convened by ASP of Chicago City Leader David Cherry, brought together 90 afterschool leaders and practitioners from more than 50 organizations in Chicago.
