Event Details

Life is full of different circumstances and environments, each of which call for different performances. Our performance at work is different than our performances at home, and we perform differently with a newborn baby than when stopped by a police officer. This course is an introduction to creating the performances needed to navigate the courtroom, a highly-charged environment where much can be at stake. Whether it’s family, tenant, or civil court, most of us don’t know how to present ourselves, or who to talk to and who not to talk to, and what we do can have serious consequences. Attorneys Mark Davidson and Harry Kresky, and improviser Marian Rich will lead you through the do’s and don’ts of performing in court. This is not a legal clinic; it is a performance workshop.

One session.
